dc.description.abstract	This article discusses aspects of the functional use of a foreign language in professional activity; using a variety of flexible learning technologies adapted to modern conditions of cultural and information space; increasing students´ motivation to learn a foreign language; finding ways to optimize the learning process in learning a foreign language in non- language high school; specific tasks aimed at enhancing the subject and language work of students. The author reveals the importance of a student-centered approach which has the activity and communicative character. Update of the research problem is related to the active forms of work used in the practice of teaching a foreign language in non-language high school. The paper analyzes the possibility of combining language problems to the main goal - the rationalization of teaching methods and increasing their efficiency. The article deals with current trends of improving the process of learning a foreign language in non-language high	ru_RU
