Annotation

The article deals with mitigation of refusing in German cultural linguistics. The tactic of mitigation in the strategy of refusing found in domestic, institutional and literary discourse is analyzed. The conclusion is made about high frequency of using clichés in the tactics of mitigated refusal in German ethnic environment.
