The article reveals the pedagogical potential of music and instrumental traditions of moral and aesthetic education of students, the general characteristic of the traditional musical instruments of the Volga, their application forms are available in the modern educational space. The article is written in a framework of the supported by the Russian Foundation for Humanities [RFH] and government of Tatarstan, project � 14-16-16006.
