    Annotation Ethnic cultural traditions play an important role in the process of versatile educated and spiritually developed person. The various types of folklore as a festivals, customs, rituals define moral and aesthetic potential of each ethnic group and are an inseparable component not only national but an universal culture. In the article it is consider the process of the development of Ethnomusical traditions of the peoples from Middle Volga in the context of cross-cultural interaction and mutual enrichment, formulated conclusion about the prospects of their functioning in the cultural and educational space now. The article is written in a framework of the supported by the Russian Foundation for Humanities [RFH] and government of Tatarstan, project № 14-16-16006.
