    Annotation The article analyzes the record keeping documents of population registration of municipal Dumas and government in the second half of XIX century, as well as the questionnaire of the census of the population of the Russian Empire of 1897, which are valuable sources for the study of large complex historical-demographic characteristics of the urban family in Russia of the second half of XIX - beginning of XX century.
