Innovative technologies in Multicultural Education Laboratory (International laboratory with distributed participation)

The 21st century is associated with two phenomena: globalization of the educational process (involving socialization and regular joint renewal of the total resource base - human, financial, scientific) and the de-globalization of increasing information flows, as well as the fragmentation of financial resources. These processes lead to irregularity and blocking of interdisciplinary, intercollegiate, and other cooperation, lack of source transfer and received data and products.

Achievement of interaction "on equal terms" with the possibility of (re) distributing the spheres of interests and the field of individual participants tasks - institutions, schools, public and state organizations, etc. - realizable in the laboratories of the new generation: international, network, with distributed participation, - based on the integration of centers of competence in related areas.

The first step towards the creation of such a laboratory was made by the management and staff of KFU (Kazan) and UdSU (Izhevsk), colleagues from Russia (ISLU, RosNOU, TSOT, etc.), Kazakhstan (S. Baishev University), Germany (EC "IKaRuS" ) etc. (by 2020, 11 Russian and 9 foreign universities, a number of public organizations with an educational component in 14 countries of the world) will be merged with the head center at the Elabuga Institute of Kazan Federal University.

All laboratories are opened with the obligatory consideration of the regional and already established competence specific features of each partner. So, in the Elabuga Institute of KFU, the head laboratory "Innovative Technologies in Multicultural Education Laboratory" was created taking into account the priorities of the development of KFU in accordance with the "Roadmap". Combined, but not lost their structural independence laboratories are turned out more mobile. They can use the resources of partners and transmit in them the products of their activities.
