Ilshat Gafurov meeting the Rector of International Management Institute of Saint Petersburg

On Monday, September 8, Ilshat Gafurov, Rector of Kazan Federal University, met Sergey Mordvin, Rector of International Management Institute of Saint Petersburg (IMISP).

International Management Institute of Saint Petersburg (IMISP) is a management school in Saint Petersburg, Russia. IMISP's MBA programmes are accredited by AMBA.It was established 20 July 1989 as a partnership of Leningrad State University and the Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) to train highly qualified management personnel.

IMISP is one of the leaders of Russian business education, the most well-known abroad (by Eduniversal ranking). It is an independent, comfortable, client-oriented school of high quality business education.

The meeting aimed at introducing both educational institutions. Ilshat Gafurov presented the Kazan University, its programmes and facilities. The rectors discussed the possibilities of joint programmes of KFU MBA Higher school and IMISP, in extractive industries, in particular.

Sergey Mordvin was taken for an excursion around the main building of the University ? Conference Hall, Lenin?s lecture hall and Eversman Zoology Museum.

IMISP Rector is planning to spend several days in Kazan and deliver two lectures ? ?Canonized and realistic portrait of a present day leader. Lost illusions? and ?Leadership?.
