The winners of the All-Russian Student Self-Governance Contest received their awards at a ceremony in the ICON Concert Hall in Moscow, on June 25.

The contest is aimed to develop student self-governance and support socially important initiatives of student unions, education units, and Russian universities' administrations. About 500 universities tried out for the contest which was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Moscow Government and Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.  

Having presented its major projects, clue activities, photos and videos, previous awards and achievements over the past 5 years; the student trade union of Kazan Federal University totally won in the nomination "Best Student Self-Governance Body".
