KFU Organizes Entrance Exams in Central Asia

Entrance exams for KFU prospective students from Uzbekistan were held in Tashkent. TheExe­cutive Secretary of Admission Office Sergei Ionenko said that in the recent years, dozens of Russian universities have been carrying out activities in Central Asia in order to attract applicants.In 2013 KFU conducted entrance exams in Uzbekistan which were attended by over 100 applicants. In 2014 the number of attendees exceeded 700 people.

More than a hundred students in Uzbekistan have opted to receive medical degree from KFU; many of them have already graduated from medical colleges and lyceums in their country. Even the fact that they should pay for their education does not stop the applicants.

The entrance exams in Tajikistan are to be taken from 25 to 30 June. TheCenter for International Educational Programs of the Ministry of Education and Science in this country helps organizing the testing. Then KFU representatives will conduct exams in Kazakhstan and in Kyrgyzstan.

In addition, on July 4-5, the representatives of KFU Admission Office will go to the Republic of Crimea. Admission tests will be conducted with our partners in Simferopol at the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University. 72 budget places are allocated to students from Crimea this year.
