Professor from Great Britain, Nicholas John Rushby shared experience with Kazan colleagues

On April, 23 Professor Nicholas John Rushby delivered a lecture in Nikolai Lobachevsky Scientific Library.

Nicholas Rushby has been working as a chief editor of «British Journal of Educational Technology» for over 20 years. This journal appears to be a source of new information for researchers and experts in expanding the range of educational and teaching technologies in English-speaking world (impact factor is 1,313). Professor Rushby is a famous expert in a wide range of issues on education, instruction, development and application of info-communication teaching technologies.     

Professor Rushby delivers lectures devoted to educational technologies in the Institute of Psychology and Education. The first lecture was on April, 21. Professor briefly described his lectures as materials devoted not only to educational, but to teaching technologies that could be applied in industry and business. According to him there are considerable differences in the ways of dealing with educational technologies issues in the Great Britain, USA and Russia. Professor is interested in Russian picture, and that is the reason for organizing a special round table this Saturday.

The lecture held on April, 22 was devoted to research and publishing ethics. Professor presented his view on the following notions: educational technologies ethics, ethical behavior and ethics in the context of educational research.
