Prof. Utz Dornberger (University of Leipzig) Conducts Workshop

On March, 25 Prof. Utz Dornberger, University of Leipzig conducted in KFU workshop on management of market innovations.

Utz Dornberger is Director and Professor Director of international SEPT Program (Small Enterprise Promotion&Training Program) since 2004, Professor in Development Economics with special emphasis on SME Development at the University of Leipzig.

Venera Vagizova, Head of Department of Banking at the Institute of Economics and Finance told us about the further cooperation with the University of Leipzig before the workshop. The main direction of the department’s research is interaction of financial and real sectors of economics. Significant experience of Prof. Dornberger in the area of real sectors needs and sources of its financing attracts his Russian colleagues. Besides, Prof. Dornberger has high h-index.    

Department of Banking and Prof. Dornberger have already prepared 3 articles to be published in scientific editions included in Scopus database. They also work on manual “Financing and Crediting in Business”. Moreover, Prof. Dornberger has agreed to read some courses at the Institute of Economics and Finance.

The first part of the workshop was devoted to innovative technologies and their implementation in the market. The representatives of KFU SME attended the second part of the workshop and presented their projects in biotechnologies, medicine and mathematics to Prof. Dornberger. The best projects will be recommended to German businessmen.
