KFU and Lappeenranta University of Technology represented by the Faculty of Engineering and Economics had a brief meeting followed by signing a MOU.

The original memorandum was signed on November 15, 2012 but this meeting specified the further steps of development including the dual diploma program in “Global management in innovation and technology”.

Kazan University was represented by Ilshat Gafurov, vice rectors and directors of Institutes. Our partners included the dean Vesa Harmaakorpi, academic director of international master program Juha Vaatanen and Riitta Salminen, coordinator of dual diploma program.  

Cooperation opportunities are gradually implemented at both Universities; further prospects of collaboration with Higher School of Information Systems and Technologies are discussed.
