Students, veterans and combatants gathered in the Assembly Hall at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication. Guests watched colorful show performed by bands from KFU and Suvorov Military School. This event was organized by KFU Office for Youth Policy, Social Issues and Development of the System of Physical and Sport Training and the Institute of Physical Culture, Sport and Restorative Medicine.
Guests were cordially welcomed by Head of the Department of Life Safety of KFU, major-general Rim Mustaev.
The day before there was organized a series of events and contests dedicated to holiday.
Veterans and combatants came to the stage in the middle of the event. They were given memorable gifts and letters of gratitude by Vice-Rector for Social Education Arif Mezhvedilov.
