The Center opened in January 2013 and since then has been engaged in making Turkish culture available and popular in Tatarstan. Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan is facilitating the work of the Center on the basis of Kazan Federal University. The goal of the project is the multi-sided study of the country including its language, culture, community life, economics, history and politics.

In our interview the manager of the Center, Ihsan Demirbash, spoke about several photo exhibitions and an art exposition “Bridges of Culture” which aimed at promoting peace and understanding among our nations.  

The Center also allows to prepare and take TYS exam in order to receive the certificate on the knowledge of the Turkish language. It will allow students to study in Turkey with having to take preparatory courses of Turkish.
