KFU team “Kazan” took the second place on Russian Youth Marathon that was held in Krasnodar region.

January 31 – February 4 was held Youth Festival “Russian Student Marathon” that was organized in recreational complex “Orbita” located on the coast of Black Sea. Team from Kazan Federal University participated among representatives of five Russian federal regions. According to the results of competitions, “Kazan” took the 3rd place in sport category, the 2nd place in creative category and the 2nd team place on a student marathon, yielding precedency to “Quality Label” from Volgograd State Socio-Pedagogical University.

Russian Student Marathon represents itself an ambitious platform for Russian students and harmoniously combines 5 days of sport, intellectual, tourist and creative contests.

Kazan University participates in the Russian Student Marathon the 3rd year in a row and shows excellent results. In 2013 in St. Petersburg team “Kazan” took the 1st place, the same year in Volgograd KFU team received the 3rd place in team scoring.
