February 5-6 was held the final stage of International Academic Competition CREDO. This is an annual event that unites students from higher educational and vocational institutions of Russia, Belorussia, Kazakhstan and the Ukraine.
The International Academic Competition is held on the initiative of Credo-Dialogue Company. The project`s aim is to enhance working skills of teachers and promising specialists with modern automated research and design technologies of software CREDO III and to increase the training level of future engineers.
I International Academic Competition was organized in 2010, within next 4 years it gathered a lot of followers. The peculiarity of this event is that it is always organized in different cities, the first one was in Nizhniy Novgorod, then it was in Minsk and Saint Petersburg. In 2014 the organizers decided to carry out this event in Kazan.
The co-organizers of the academic competition in Kazan was KFU, OAO Tatavtodor, company Triada Plus, Centre Rosstroiobrazovanie. The final stage was carried out in the building of the Division of Astrophysics and Space Geodesy of KFU Institute Physics. Competition participants were welcomed by representatives of company Credo-Dialogue and Kazan University. Company coordinator on relations with universities Irirna Rak told that Kazan and, namely, KFU were chosen on purpose as venue for this competition. The organizers highly appreciated efforts of the Department of Astronomy and Space Geodesy, they were also attracted by rich history of Tatarstan capital. After that participants defended their research works. 35 applicants competed for winning places in the following categories:
- Research works
- Designing.
As a result 12 participants were admitted to final.
Competition winners were awarded money and certificates.
