On February, 6 was held a meeting of universities` rectors with Permanent Representatives of Tatarstan to foreign countries and Russian regions.

The event was opened by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Danil Mustafin. In his speech he underlined one of priority areas- development of Tatarstan universities internationalization to global academic community.

To give a general idea Permanent Representatives were presented leading Kazan universities. At first the floor was given to Rector of Kazan federal university Ilshat Gafurov. He told about KFU interregional and international cooperation as well as about system of internal activity management. Moreover, rector reflected current KFU activity in connection with program on entering TOP 100 world class universities, familiarized with university facilities and infrastructure.

In the framework of the event were presented the following universities: Kazan National Research Technical University n.a. A.N. Tupolev, Kazan National Research Technological University and Kazan State Medical University.

After rectors of universities presented their institutions, the participants discussed the opportunities of Tatarstan universities promotion outside our Republic. There were expressed such ideas as distribution of information about higher institutions on government web-sites, facilitation of cooperation with Rossotrudnichestvo, participation in international educational exhibitions presenting the Council of Rectors of Tatarstan Republic. Live communication showed that all parties are interested in cooperation.
