KFU Student Wins Russian-wide Olympiad in the Persian Language

Vasiliy Vdovin, a student of the KFU Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies won X Russian-wide Olympiad in the Persian Language organized by Moscow State University.

Elena Alekseeva from Moscow State Linguistic University was the second. The third place went to Maria Bondar from Russian State University for the Humanities.

H.E. Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation handed to Vasiliy Vdovin a commemorative sign of the Olympiad winner, diploma and cash prize.  

Other students of the KFU Institute of International Relations, History and Oriental Studies (Ildar Nizameev, Artur Gayazov and Rauzil Gilmanov) got the diplomas of the Olympiad participants.

Associate Professor of the Department of Indo-Iranian and African languages Ramil Yuzmukhametov and senior lecturer Mehrdad Ferdousi were among the judges.
