Russian students in foreign universities will receive state support

Russian students who entered international universities independently will get state support. A corresponding decree was signed by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

As it is mentioned in the document social support will be given on competitive basis to those citizens from the Russian Federation who entered international universities and study on full-time basis.  An essential obligation for receiving this support is student`s commitment to work for Russian company after graduating from an international university.

This document underlines the fact that those students who make a decision to work for international companies will be fined. This fine will exceed state support two times. Vladimir Putin encharged ministers with a task to approve this program in a three-monthly period as well as allocate funds on its implementation to budget for 2014 – 2016.
