KFU Law Faculty has a long history of holding research events, including conferences, roundtables and workshops supposed to help future lawyers. Thus, on April 20-21 the Law Faculty hosted regular Russian court debates featuring simulated court hearings in civil and criminal law. The practice is supposed to prepare students for real court sessions with all their ins and outs. Over 100 talented students from all over the country attended the event. They were judged by referees - practicing prosecutors, defense lawyers and judges. The winner at the civil law section was a team from Ural State Law Academy (Yekaterinburg), while KFU team was the champion at the criminal law section.
