We continue our series on scholars who come to KFU under Erasmus mundus Action II program. Our interview with professor Miljutin (Tartu University, Estonia) took place at the office of ex-director of Zoological Museum , currently associate professor of Bioresource and Aquaculture Department – Alexander Bespalov.

Prof. Miljutin said that during this trip he had a chance not only to teach lectures at KFU but also to participate in field study. His was also intrigued to compare Zoological Museum at KFU with the one at his home university. Professor expressed his high estimation of Kazan students by recognizing high level of knowledge that they demonstrated. Professor Miljutin noted that he would be interested in further collaboration including student and faculty exchange, however, language barrier can present a significant obstacle for teaching and learning.
