At the meeting the successful businessman told the audience how to achieve success in development and promotion of this or that idea. Here are some extracts from the lector’s speech.

Be unique!

“Create a real product, something really worthy, which can be useful for people. The most important thing is not to copy! Today many people are keen on programming. The problem is lack of unique ideas. We do not need an imitation of Facebook, Instagram etc.  However, it is important to note that programmers and IT specialists namely from Russia create very interesting things. The only problem is that these products are meant mainly for the Russian customer and everything in them is in Russian. Dear colleagues, you should think globally! Develop your program base in English – believe me, this will bring you success, of course, if the idea is good.”

Three questions you must clearly answer

“Promoting any product you must clearly know answers to the questions: “What is it?”, “How does it work?” and “Who cares?”. Pretty often during presentations people enjoy spouting such words as “a new generation product”, “innovative”, “superefficient” etc., and you do not understand what they are speaking about. One must know how to answer these questions without any illusions. In that case you will be able to promote your idea.”

If an intellectual property is protected it becomes assets

“The Golden Rule of any scientist is to license his research or idea to prevent others from intercepting it and starting making money out of it. Believe me, such cases are really numerous.”
