Master's students of the Intelligent Robotics program successfully defended their final theses

On June 30, 2025, the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU) held a final theses defense. Graduates of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) presented their theses. Aidar Zagirov and Muhammad Mukiev completed their theses under the supervision of Associate Professor Elvira Chebotareva, while LIRS Head and Professor of the Intelligent Robotics Department Evgeni Magid supervised the theses of Ruslan Farkhetdinov and Ramir Sultanov.

All students defended their master's theses, and three students finished the master's program in Software Engineering, specializing in Intelligent Robotics with honors.

Students' final thesis topics:

"Development and implementation of an algorithm for searching for victims buried under rubble using the stereo vision of the Servosila Engineer tracked robot" (R.R. Farkhetdinov)

"The influence of dynamic solar illumination on the accuracy of visual localization on a road with natural elements using standard SLAM algorithms in the Gazebo simulator" (R.R. Sultanov)

"Adaptation of the KUKA KR3 industrial manipulator for performing a work task within the framework of collaborative interaction with a human" (A.I. Zagirov)

"Development of software for controlling an industrial conveyor based on ROS within the framework of collaborative robotic production" (M.I. Mukiev)
