The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University – Our New Partner

Memorandum of Understanding between Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University and Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University (the Republiс of Kazakhstan) was signed on July 10, 2013.

Rectors of both universities, Ilshat Gafurov and Kylyshbay Bissenov, put their signatures on the document. The aim of the Memorandum is to develop international cooperation in education and research, and to support exchange of academic staff and students. 

As reference: The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University was established in 1988 by merging the Ibray Zhakhaev Kyzylorda Polytechnic Institute with the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University for Humanities. 

The contemporary university is the biggest multidisciplinary university of the Republic of Kazakhstan where students can receive education on 57 bachelor, 27 master, 4 postgraduate programs. More than 8000 students study at The Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University at presence.
