Book about Russian turcologists

Recently Kazan received from the Turkish capital another book dedicated to Russian Turcologists. This is the second book of the first volume Bibliographic Dictionary of Turcologists of Eurasia. The first book was dedicated to Turcologists who worked in Russian Empire and Soviet Union. The second book includes Turcologists born in the 20th century, mostly after 1950, and those who was not included in the first volume.

Series of books is published jointly by the International Organization of Turkic Culture TÜRKSOY, International Foundation of Cooperation in Humanities and Turkic Historic Society.

Vocabulary is edited by the Head of TÜRKSOY, Professor Dyusen Kaseinov. It was compiled by Doctor of Science in History, A.Kolesnikov and Doctor of Science in History, I. Kemaoglu, who currently works in the Turkish Historical Society. Scientific editor is Professor Klyashtorniy from St. Petersburg.

Books are published in Turkish and Russian languages.

The list of scientists includes 269 Turcologists from Russian regions, mostly from Tatarstan and Bashkortastan. 62 scientists from Republican universities, Academy of Sciences and other scientific institutions are mentioned in the list.
