Head of the International Office of KFU branch in Naberezhnye Chelny, Renat Gazetdinov, visited Spanish Universities. The aim of his visit was to get acquainted with International Offices in Universities, to establish contacts with Spanish Universities and to make drafts of agreements for cooperation.  

Vivid interest was paid to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – UPC or BarcelonaTech. This University has branches in 8 cities and consists of 23 faculties and institutes. Renat Gazetdinov visited Institutional Relations and Internationalisation Bureau as well as International Office of the School of Industrial Engineering where he had negotiations with Deputy Director for International Relations, Doctor Mr. Lazaro Cremades  and Head of the Office Mr. Jose Parra.

Renat Gazetdinov visited campus in Terrassa where he had meeting with the Head of International Relations Office, Mr. Jose Luis Andres. They discussed questions concerning cooperation between our universities, including academic exchange, supervision of diploma theses, participation in joint projects, signing the Agreement of Understanding.

As a result of meeting, representatives of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and KFU branch in Naberezhnye Chelny agreed on development of cooperation in education and science.
