KFU Institutes face reorganization

On May, 11 was held Rectorate meeting under chairmanship of KFU Rector Ilshat Gafurov.  

The meeting agenda was the question concerning coming al­terations in the structure of several KFU Institutes. Director of the Institute of Philology and Arts, Radif Zamaletdinov, was the first to take the floor. He presented the following project of al­terations. Three divisions will be formed instead of five: Division of Russian and Foreign Philology, Division of Tatar Philology and Intercultural Communication and Salikh Saidashev Higher School of Arts. The major part of the Division of Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication will be transferred to the Institute of History. So, the number of departments will be decreased to 18.       

Rector approved this project. Final decision will be made by the Academic Council of the University. 

Director of the Institute of History, Ramil Khairullin, reported about the reorganization in his Institute. According to his project, Institute will be comprised of three divisions: Division of International Relations and Studies of Foreign Regions, Division of History and Division of World Cultural Heritage. 14 departments will work in this Institute.
