'Study at KFU': representatives of International Recruiting Companies visit Kazan Federal University

«Study at KFU» is the seminar which started today in Kazan Federal University. The recruiting specialists from Pakistan, Turkey, China, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine have been offered the opportunity to evaluate educational and infrastructural potential of the University in order to attract international students.

Vice-Rector for International Relations Linar Latypov made the University’s presentation and informed the audience on a number of the signed agreements with the recruiting agencies.

Scientific Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Russian Federation, Belorussia, and Middle Asia Behrooz Abtahi shared his impressions from cooperation with Kazan University. “Three years ago I was searching for the university where Iranians could study. I can say that Kazan Federal University is the best place for international students. The university provides comfortable dormitories; here the students have an opportunity to communicate with the leading scientists. Our experience proves that we have made the right decision. 30 Iranian students study nanotechnologies, biotechnologies and other subjects at the level of Master’s and Graduate’s degrees at present”.    

Landysh Zakirova, a representative of External Relations Office, explained in details the processing of papers for prospective international students.

The representatives of KFU institutes and faculties made the presentations with focus on the target audience (prospective international students). KFU branches also contributed to the seminar: Naberezhnye Chelny branch paid special attention to engineering cluster while Elabuga branch showed the dynamic video.   

During the two days of the seminar its participants will visit Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology, Institute of Physics, Alexander Butlerov Institute of Chemistry, Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations, Institute of Philology and Arts.

The seminar’s program includes a visit to the Universiade Village. The recruiting specialists will see the comfortable conditions the University provides for its students.
