On June 27, 2024, a delegation from the Province of Aceh, Republic of Indonesia, led by Wali Nanggroe Aceh – Teungku Malik Mahmud Al-Haythar (Sultan) visited the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU). The delegation also included: Rector of Siyah Kuala University Marwan, Rector of Teuku Umar University Ishak Hasan, Rector of Malikussaleh University Herman Fithra, as well as representatives of the Indonesian government and university vice-rectors, staff and volunteers.

Evgeni Magid, Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department, showed the guests the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotics Systems (LIRS), talked about current research projects and demonstrated robotics equipment. The meeting was held in a friendly manner, the guests appreciated the work and equipment of the laboratory.
