On April 18, 2024, the first “Scientific Standup” - a new format within the framework of the project “PRO Science at KFU” - took place. The aim of the new event is to present serious scientific results in a simple and easy-to-understand format.

Seven young scientists of the university took part in the “Scientific Standup”. Maksim Mustafin, an employee of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotics Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU), told about the experiments and demonstrated a mobile robot: “The experience lied in that both the human and the robot had a certain area of responsibility. That is, the human did a part of a work and the robot did its part. For example, the human put the basis for the spinner on the panel, and the robot added bearings to it,” Maksim said.
