On December 26, 2023, Tatyana Tsoy, an employee and graduate student of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotics (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU), defended her Candidate’s thesis in the specialty "2.3.8 - Informatics and Information Processes". The topic of the thesis is "Information and software-algorithmic support of autonomous calibration of the on-board camera of a mobile robot".

The defense of this dissertation was the first defense in the KFU.023.2 Dissertation Council opened on the basis of the Institute of ITIS.  According to the results of the successful work, the Dissertation Council unanimously awarded Tatyana Tsoy the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.

The scientific supervisor of the research was Head of the Intelligent Robotics Department Evgeni Magid. The thesis results were published in 13 articles in leading scientific journals on robotics.
