On November 11, 2023, Kazan Lyceum №185 hosted the Interregional Competition in 9 robotics fields. 91 teams from the Republic of Tatarstan, Mari El, Chuvash Republic, the Vladimir Region, the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Saratov Region paid a visit to the event. The competition’s goal was the popularization of science among schoolchildren, the tasks for the Competition were designed for practical solution of engineering and technical problems.

Alexandra Dobrokvashina, a graduate student, and Elvira Chebotareva, an Associate Professor of the Intelligent Robotics Department of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU), acted as jury members. "It's cool that such competitions are held," said Alexandra, "and the competition of creative projects is an another story. Many of them, despite the age of the authors, touch on very important and urgent problems. And the approach to the presentation of projects looks very serious".

The graduate student added that the participants of the competition put forward their ideas and prepared materials for presentation: explanatory notes, presentations and even prototypes.
