Kazan Federal University (KFU) hosted delegations from different universities during the days of the forum "Russia - Islamic World: KazanForum 2023". One of such delegations was the representatives of the Technical University of Malaysia.

On May 19, 2023, the delegation visited the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotics Systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of KFU. The delegation was led by Vice-Chancellor of the university, Datuk Ahmad Fauzi Ismail. It also included Vice-Chancellor's wife Fadilah Abdullah, Director of Azman Hashim  International Business School Rosmini Omar, Director of the University's International Center Mohd Arifin Abu Hassan, Director of the Institute of Transportation Systems and Engineering Madhya Mohd Farid Bin Mohamad Saeed and Director of Aerolab Laboratory Madhya Shabudin Bin Mat.

LIRS employee Ramil Safin told the guests about the scientific and educational activities of the laboratory in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence, demonstrated the laboratory equipment and told about the scientific projects. The guests appreciated the work and equipment of the laboratory.
