Professor Evgeni Magid appeared as keynote speaker at 28th International Conference on Artificial Life and Robotics

The International Conference on Artificial Life and Robotics (ICAROB 2023) was held from 9 to 12 of February 2023 in Beppu, Japan. The purpose of the conference was to involve scientists and researchers in a productive discussion of new developments and key issues in the field of artificial life and robotics.

Professor of the Intelligent Robotics Department Evgeni Magid presented the key report “Simulation Tools for Urban Search and Rescue Robotics” at the ICAROB 2023. He told the audience about how to correctly move from hypotheses and theoretical research to practical experiments, about the role of modelling and simulators in search and rescue robotics, about the possibilities of modeling robots, the environment and algorithms using Gazebo and Webots simulators.
