Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems members made presentations for University Final Scientific Conference

On January 23, 2023, the annual University Final Scientific Conference was held at the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University (KFU). Members of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) and students of the Master's program “Intelligent Robotics” made articles for it.

LIRS members and Bachelor’s students Maxim Mustafin (“Human and Gesture-Controlled Collaborative Robot Interaction Peculiarities”), Aidar Zagirov (“Human Actions Simulation in Collaborative Robotic Space Using AR601M Humanoid Robot in Gazebo Simulator”), Ramir Sultanov (“Virtual Collaborative Cells for UR3 and UR5 Robots in Gazebo Simulator”) and Liaisan Safarova (“Monocular Visual SLAM Methods Comparison Based on ROS”) made presentations for the conference. Master’s students Artem Apurin (“LIRS-ArtBul: Design, Modelling and Construction of an Omnidirectional Chassis for a Modular Multipurpose Robotic Platform”), Renat Abdulganeev (“Door Handle Detection Modelling for Servosila Engineer Robot in Gazebo Simulator”), Nikita Tukhtamanov (“Open Source Library of Human Models for Gazebo Simulator”) and Elaman Kidiraliev (“Using Optical Sensors for Industrial Robot-Human Interactions in Gazebo Simulator”) also presented their research.

The academic advisors of the participating students are Head of LIRS and the Intelligent Robotics Department Professor Evgeni Magid and Assistant Professor Roman Lavrenov.
