On June 10, 2022, the participants of the first session of the camp of robotics, 3D modeling and programming "Discover IT" attended a lecture by Evgeni Magid - Professor of the Department of Intelligent Robotics of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) KFU and Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS).

The camp is a specialized educational and scientific center at the IT Lyceum of Kazan Federal University. During the week, camp participants are trained in robotics, Python programming, 3D modeling and printing. In addition to classes for children, trips are organized where young students meet with representatives of IT companies, visit the planetarium and university laboratories.

Evgeni Magid gave a lecture to the guests on the topic of robotics and spoke about its basics and types of robots. The lecture aroused great interest among the children: they listened attentively and asked many questions.

After the lecture, the professor gave the guests a tour of the laboratory. The children were especially interested in the anthropomorphic robot ROBOTIS OP-2, which greeted the children.
