Cyborg Cells are less frightening than may appear

Associate Professor from KFU Ravil Fakhrullin gave the presentation to graduate students and professors on “Design of Cyborg Cells in nano-construction processes” at Louisiana Tech University.

Currently, research groups of Ravil Fakhrullin and Yuri Lvov (Louisiana Tech University coordinator) conduct joint research under the grant of the Group of Eight "Multi-sized smart coatings with long-lasting anti-corrosion effect". Such scientific links between research groups can be seen as an example of the effective "horizontal" cooperation. Moreover, there have been achieved some positive results - two articles in prestigious journals ACS Nano Chemical and Chemical Communications, with the next publication of another experimental article in the stage of preparation, as well as a joint monograph. The laboratory of Prof. Lvov also supports research training of the KFU graduate Renata Minullina (Supervisor - Ravil Fakhrullin). This training is funded by a grant of the President of the Russian Federation.
