On June 06, 2022, Professor of the Department of Intelligent Robotics of the IInstitute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) KFU and Head of the  Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) Evgeni Magid became a guest of the children's and youth television program «To know» on the student TV channel Univer TV.

The telecast covers various fields of science. In the center of its plot is an invited guest, who is interviewed by young TV-hosts and reveals the topic of his scientific activity. This time the guest of the program was Professor Evgeni Magid. In a conversation with hosts Masha and Ilya, he answered questions about the level of development of robotics in Russia, what applicants need to know in order to enter robotics and whether it is difficult to study robotics at the ITIS Institute. Also, Evgeni told a lot of interesting things about himself: what kind of student he was, how he spends his weekends now and whether he uses robots in his daily life. The professor spoke about the scientific research carried out at LIRS. An example of some developments was the anthropomorphic robot ROBOTIS OP-2. LIRS reearch assistant and 3rd year bachelor degree student in Software Engineering Ramir Sultanov demonstrated LIRS developments for the ROBOTIS OP-2 robot: the robot greeted the viewers and performed a dance to the Russian folk song «Valenki».
