On February 8, 2022, the Day of Russian Science was held at KFU, which the university celebrated with the scientific event "Territory of Knowledge", in which the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) took part.

The event included master classes, intellectual games, workshops and lectures. Mikhail Abramsky, Director of ITIS, gave a lecture “What is natural in artificial intelligence”. The event ended with an awards ceremony for ITIS employees who contributed to the development of student science and the circle movement at KFU. For achievements in the scientific field, 2nd year Master degree student of ITIS and an employee of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) Bulat Abbyasov (h-index: 2, number of publications in the Scopus database: 6, number of references to publications in the Scopus database: 35) was awarded with the letter of appreciation .
