Head of the Laboratory of Intelligent Robotic Systems (LIRS) and the master's program «Intelligent Robotics» of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS), Professor Evgeni Magid received the departmental award «Gratitude of the Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan».

On October 5, the 11th ceremony of awarding grants from the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan to first-year students of the Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems of KFU were held in the Technopark in the field of high technologies «IT Park». This event traditionally launches the academic year at ITIS. At the end of last year, the faculty was awarded the status of an Institute. The passing score in this admission campaign was 273 points for the budget form of education and 263 points for the grant form. Symbolically, on Teacher's Day in Russia, ITIS teachers were awarded departmental awards "Gratitude of the Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan". The Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Airat Khairullin and Vice-Rector for Research of KFU Dmitry Tayursky congratulated students and teachers.

ITIS and IT Park have a long-standing and fruitful cooperation. Many joint projects are being planned and implemented at the moment. Traditionally, ITIS students become residents of the business incubator. The ceremony was also attended by the director of the Technopark in the field of high technologies «IT Park» Alexander Borisov.

ITIS Director Mikhail Abramsky, who is currently on a business trip to Dubai Expo 2020 as part of the delegation of the KFU from the Republic of Tatarstan, congratulated the students remotely, in a video format.
