A report about the Laboratory intelligent robotic systems in the news of the TV channel Russia 1 Tatarstan

On February 15, 2021, a video shooting on the scientific research conducted by the laboratory's employees and students took place at the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of KFU. A video report will be shown on the TV channel Russia 1 Tatarstan.

LIRS employees Arina Kotik and Liliya Gavrilova are one of the key researchers of the laboratory in the field of human-robot interaction spoke in detail about the implementation and results of the project on the integration of the anthropomorphic robot Robotis DARwin OP2 in the process of teaching English to preschool children. During the interview, they talked about the main processes and difficulties in preparing for experiments and about conducting real experiments with children using a robot. The verbal and locomotor capabilities of the robot were demonstrated.

A senior lecturer Roman Lavrenov spoke about the organization of the educational and scientific process at LIRS and about other research conducted in the laboratory.
