Scientists received state awards of Tatarstan for 2020

Among them were several KFU employees.

On 8 February, President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave awards to distinguished researchers in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Fifteen people were commended for their advancements in 2020. For their contributions to cultural promotion and heritage preservation, three employees of Kazan Federal University received deserved praise – Ramil Khairutdinov (Director of the Institute of International Relations), Rafael Valeev (Deputy Director of the IIR), and Airat Sitdikov (Director of the Higher School of Historical Sciences and World Cultural Heritage).

State awards were given to four other academics – Aidar Kalimullin (Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education), Albert Rizvanov (Director of the Center for Precision and Regenerative Medicine), Igor Antipin (Chair of the Department of Organic Chemistry), and Nayil Kashapov (Director of the Institute of Engineering).
