On January 27, 2021 Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of Kazan Federal University was visited by a representative of the Foundation for Advanced Research (FAR). The FAR is a state fund which promotes scientific research and development in the interests of Russian defense and state security.

LIRS employees Roman Lavrenov, Ramil Safin and the Head of the Laboratory professor Evgeni Magid gave the guest a tour around the laboratory, told about the current projects implemented there and also showed the guest with the equipment. During the meeting they discussed the cooperation opportunities and implementation of high-tech projects in a number of areas.
