Students of the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems are the finalists of the correspondence stage of the competition 'Student of the year of KFU – 2020'

At the end of the every outgoing year, Kazan Federal University holds the competition “Student of the year of KFU – 2020”. Students nominated by their own institutes, who study well and take an active part in the social, scientific, sports and cultural life of the University, can apply for participation.

The competition is held in several stages: correspondence stage, full-time and award ceremony. The first stage, correspondence, involves the preparation of competitive works. It means that competitioners collect their portfolio to participate in various categories. According to the results of this stage, an employee of the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) and a 1-year student of the master's degree program "Intelligent robotics" Bulat Abbyasov was announced as one of the finalists in the nomination "Best master's student in the field of Natural, Physical & Mathematical Sciences". In the category "Best postgraduate student in the field of Natural and Physical & Mathematical Sciences", an employee of the LIRS of the Institute of ITIS and a 1st-year postgraduate student Ramil Safin was announced as one of the finalists.

The full-time stage will be held on December 07, 2020 in the Small hall of the CSC KFU "UNICS".

Last year, Ilya Mavrin, a 1st-year student of the master's program "Intelligent robotics" of the ITIS KFU and Aufar Zakiev, a 2nd-year postgraduate student and an employee of the LIRS, became the winners in the category "Intelligence of the year in the field of Natural and Physical & Mathematical Sciences".
