On November 13, 2020 a Head of the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Institute of Information Technology and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) Professor Evgeni Magid and a senior lecturer Roman Lavrenov made a return visit to the Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering (KSUAE). Earlier, a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Tatarstan Republic, a Head of the Department of road construction machinery of the Institute of transport structures of KSUAE, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rustem Sakhapov visited LIRS.

Rustem Lukmanovich is an official opponent of Roman Lavrenov's Candidate thesis on the following topic: "Mathematical and software solutions to the problem of multi-criteria search for the path of a mobile object".

During the visit the employees of LIRS were given a tour around the Institute of transport structures and were shown a driving school of KSUAE. They also discussed the possibilities of further cooperation in interdisciplinary areas. The guests appreciated the scientific potential of the Institute, as well as its specialized road construction equipment.
