On September 09, 2020 the Laboratory of intelligent robotic systems (LIRS) of the Higher Institute of Information Technologies and Intelligent Systems (ITIS) of KFU was visited by a representative of the company "SICK" Dmitry Melnik to discuss issues of further cooperation. A Head of the LIRS professor Evgeni Magid gave a tour around the laboratory and told about the projects of employees and students of the laboratory.

SICK produces a full range of sensors for automation of production, technological processes and logistics. It has been officially presented on the Russian market since 2004. Founded in 1946 as a small family-owned company, SICK has grown into a major international concern over the course of its existence and functioning.
