The House is a part Every Child’s Success Federal Program.

The opening ceremony on 1st September was conducted by Director of the House of Scientific Collaboration (HSC) Liliya Latipova and Deputy Director of the Yelabuga Institute for Research Irina Mikhaylova.

The HSC comprises study clubs for robotics, industrial design, chess, and textile manufacturing. There are also separate facilities for project planning, experiments, and lectures. On this very first day, KFU educators held their first classes for HSC pupils in physics, IT, robotics, and industrial design. Higher school students served as assistant teachers.

Director Latipova shared that about 400 pupils should receive training at HSC in the upcoming academic year. The disciplines include chess, biotechnology, software for driverless vehicles, AR programming, mechatronics, microelectronics, arts technology, and others. A separate advanced training program for secondary school teachers will help them enhance their skills in emotional intelligence and science teaching.

“Every year, we’ll be following the changes in the Atlas of New Professions and put forth new educational modules to help kids become successful professionals in the future,” added Latipova.

Importantly, all HSC programs will be free of charge, including out-of-house sessions and distance learning.

The House of Scientific Collaboration is named after Academician Kamil Valiev (1931 - 2010), a Kazan University alumnus and employee, one of the pioneers of Soviet microelectronics and quantum computing.
