Temporary employment campaign for students continues

249 students are currently employed, with 96 of them being overseas nationals.

The campaign started in May, when coronavirus restrictions had already shown significant negative impact on students’ incomes. About 300 temp jobs were offered by KFU, and 2 thousand more by Tatarstan’s public and private companies and government agencies.

This year’s alumna of the Institute of Chemistry Angelina Vaschenko has always been a community activist, so she was welcomed at the Department of Youth Policy.

“I was the Chairwoman of the Association of Students of the Universiade Village, so I really find joy in what I’m doing here. I am currently employed at the Center for Temporary Student Employment and help my peers find jobs,” she shares.

Angelina’s work mostly comprises editing social network pages and communicating with applicants. She plans to continue her education and work at the Department.

Those who seek employment can enter their personal account on the University website and proceed to «Вакансии КФУ». This is what master student Kamoliddin Bobokhonov has done.

“Filling a questionnaire only took a few minutes. In three days, the Department contacted me for an interview. I wanted to have a distance job, and this is what the University provided. I handle applications and consult students. It’s comfortable, and keeping in touch with students really brings me joy,” he says.

The job listing is available at https://kpfu.ru/main_page?p_sub=50&p_key_emp=2

CVs should be addressed to rabota.stud.kpfu@gmail.com.
