Fifth wave of grocery giveaways started

1,381 packages were distributed in dorms on 1st June, and over 3,500 are planned for today.

Director of Student City (KFU’s dorm complex in Kazan City Center) Radik Nikolaev notes, “Students are very content with the support that KFU provides and often express their gratitude. I want to remind that University has found the wherewithal to help not only students but also senior employees who are over 75 years of age.”

Student Rozalina Zaynitdinova, who arrived to study from neighboring Republic of Bashkortostan, shares, “Students don’t always have money, so this help from the university is very useful. My student friends from Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Ufa are really surprised to hear that our university cares about us in this manner. They can only dream of such a support.”

Жители студгородка очень ценят поддержку, которую оказывает на протяжении достаточно долгого времени Казанский федеральный университет.

The same sentiment is expressed by Anastasiya Trubnikova from Kazakhstan, “It’s very pleasant to see that Kazan Federal University cares about us for this long. All students are in a complicated situation right now. The groceries that we receive are indispensable and have a long shelf life.”

Apart from this regular help, students can also apply for temporary jobs listed by the University for the upcoming months. The listings are available in students’ personal accounts under “Вакансии КФУ.”
