Graduates highly satisfied with education quality at Kazan University

Survey results were presented by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Timirkhan Alishev at a morning briefing on 19th May.

The poll covered 1,391 graduates from the past 3 years, 2017 to 2019. Of them, 68% were bachelors, 29% - masters, and 3% graduated from a PhD course.

As the results indicate, 69% are fully satisfied with the education they received at Kazan University, and 20% are partially satisfied.

As of today, 80% of the surveyed individuals have found employment. 90% of respondents noted that they feel prepared to enter the job market.

Rector Ilshat Gafurov replied that more attention should be paid to such questions. “We have to find out the reasons for unemployment, even if the ratio is not that high, and think about introducing more variability of educational trajectories during senior years,” he opined.
